Discover how Christmas would have been celebrated at Lyme during the Regency period. During the Regency when Thomas Legh lived at Lyme, Christmas was a time of celebration. There wasn't the emphasis on gift giving as there is today, instead the focus was on spending time with family and friends at parties, feasts and gatherings.
