Lunchtime Talk: A Short History of Carriages
Staffordshire County Museum Service has a nationally important collection of horse-drawn carriages, ranging from the humble Hansom Cab to the Earl of Shrewsbury’s magnificent State Chariot. This talk will look at some of the stories behind these vehicles, and how the museum conserves, cares for and displays them.
