The Wihan Quartet
The Wihan Quartet has been described as: ‘one of the best quartets in the world today’ (International Record Review). Formed in 1985, the Quartet has developed an outstanding reputation for the interpretation of its native Czech heritage, and of the many classical, romantic and modern masterpieces of the string quartet repertoire. The afternoon performance programme will include: Beethoven: String Quartet in C minor Op18 No4, Janacek: String Quartet No 2 ‘Intimate Letters’ and finally, Dvo£rák
