Talk: Picasso in 1932
At the age of 50, enjoying a new level of fame, Picasso created some of his most iconic canvases in 1932. To coincide with Tate Modern's major exhibition 'Picasso 1932: Love, Fame, Tragedy', curator Nancy Ireson explores the highs and lows of this landmark period in the artist's career. Before joining Tate, Ireson curated at the Art Institute of Chicago, The Courtauld Gallery and The National Gallery.
