HPS Talk: von Siebold in Japan, Owain Gibby
On Saturday 1st Sept at 2.30pm, Owain Gibby, a Japanese gardening enthusiast, will be giving a talk about, and answering questions on, “von Siebold in Japan”. Philipp Franz von Siebold, the German physician, botanist, and traveller, brought living plants from Japan to Europe and introduced many ornamental Japanese plants here, many of which are now well known.

Doors open at 2pm, the talk starts at 2.30pm and the meeting finishes around 4.15pm.
