Romantic Women
Samuel Taylor Coleridge - behind this great man were some great women whose stories are rarely told. From Dorothy Wordsworth, “all fire and ardour”, to Sara, his hard working wife who disappeared from his poetry altogether.
These new tours of Coleridge Cottage tell the tales of the women who most influenced Coleridge’s life and work while he lived in Nether Stowey, and what life was like for women in the 18th century.
Tours take place 12-1pm
The Cottage opens at 11am. National Trust members go in for free. Non-members Gift Aid ticket price is £7.30 (Adult), £3.70 (Child) or £18.20 (Family)
