Join Lewisham Choral Society, Bromley Boy Singers and three outstanding soloists for Elgar’s masterpiece, The Dream of Gerontius. The tale of a dying man’s journey to the afterlife, encounters with angels and demons, a thunderous glimpse of God and a bathe in the lake of Purgatory inspired the most dramatic, poignant and sublimely peaceful music, ending as an angel’s voice floats over a double choir and boy treble ‘angelicals’.
