Royal Free Music Society Spring Concert - JS Bach: Magnificat & Brandenburg Concerto no 3
The Royal Free Music Society will open the concert with Monteverdi’s dramatic Beatus Vir (Blessed is the man) - an Italian Renaissance setting of Psalm 112.
The rest of the evening belongs to JS Bach - the Hampstead Sinfonietta will perform his Orchestral Suite No 3, which includes one of the most popular tunes in classical music – the beautifully melodic ‘Air’. They will also be playing JS Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No 3.
