Battersea Choral Society Presents JS Bach's St John Passion
On Saturday 10 March members of Battersea Choral Society, with world-class soloists and renowned early music ensemble Musica Poetica, will perform the epic masterpiece by JS Bach - St John Passion.
The Passion according to St John was first heard on Good Friday, 7 April 1724, as part of the service of Vespers in the church of St Nicholas in Leipzig.
