Guided walk: Ellesmere and the meres of North Shropshire (9 miles)

The walk will visit the town of Welshhampton, part of the Shropshire Union Canal, Colemere including its historic boat house, Blake mere, the Ellesmere canal tunnel (alternative route available for those with claustrophobia) and the old arboretum and ice house excavation. Please meet outside The Boathouse Restaurant (SY12 0PA) on the side of the Mere at Ellesmere.
