Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd - A Primrose Walk at Walcot Wood

A guided walk through an ancient woodland with a carpet of thousands of primroses. Walcot Wood was once owned by Clive of India and part of the 18,000 acre estate attached to Walcot Hall. The tiny remaining woodland has been specially managed by the National Trust. The management has allowed thousands of primroses to flower in spring.
