Buckland Abbey - Spring Mummers Play with Dartmoor Border Morris
Come and watch Dartmoor Border Morris perform a traditional Mummers play in the atmospheric surroundings of the Great Barn. The traditional mummers play (merrymaking in disguise) was usually performed to celebrate the death of the year and its resurrection in the Spring. This family friendly play will entertain you with a comedy story of good v's evil and of course, lots of Morris dancing!
Play begins at 2pm in the Great Barn
