Newtown National Nature Reserve and Old Town Hall - Tales of Newtown

To celebrate the centenary of the first act to give women the right to vote, join our guided tour to discover how the history of the Old Town Hall owes much to the mysterious all-female Ferguson's Gang. This group of pioneering women was instrumental in raising awareness of the need to protect and preserve valuable places, such as the Old Town Hall, but they did it in an eccentric way. By wearing masks and using fictitious names such as Red Biddy, Sister. Booking Not Needed.
A National Trust Event - Start 13:00. End 14:30. Free Event but Normal Admission Charges Apply. Meet at the Old Town Hall PO30 4PA (SZ 423 906). Check website for latest information. Tours start at
