Jackie Kay is a poet, novelist and playwright, with many distinctions including her current role as the third modern Makar (Scottish poet laureate). Jackie comes to West Kirby Arts Centre as part of the Wirral Festival of Firsts events on Sunday 1st July to give a reading and book signing. Tickets: £12 can be purchased online. From 1st June, if not sold out by then, a limited number of tickets will be available to buy over the counter at Staacks and Lattetude, West Kirby, and Acorn Pict
