Fungi and Foraging Family wildlife Challenge
An event for the whole family! Devils fingers, jelly ear, scarlet elfcup and slimy waxcap are not part of a witch’s spell but the names of some fascinating fungi. Come and explore Geneva Wood with us and see how many different types of toadstools we can find. We will also be exploring how wild animals prepare for winter, looking at how our ancestors foraging from the countryside and sampling rosehip syrup.
Event is free and a families can register for a family challenge for £5, brimming with challenges, awards to receive stickers and prizes.
