Join us for our annual 19th century-inspired paper crafts festival on early May Bank Holiday. See demonstrations by contemporary makers, make marbled wrapping paper and paper cone baskets, enjoy folk music, watch Morris dancing and take part in May Pole dancing. Activities include:
Paper Marbling: Make beautiful sheets of marbled paper, a form of paper decoration favoured by the Victorians.
Paper Cone Baskets: Create a traditional springtime gift basket decorated with collaged papers and ribbon.
Time: 10am – 5pm
Cost: Free with admission.
