BUILDING HARMONIC FLUTES
This workshop is open to everyone, and teaches you how to build harmonic flutes.
The harmonic flutes will be constructed on the same model as a suling (a Bali ring flute). The flutes will be painted, decorated and of course played!
There are two factors that affect a fine suling's tone: fingering position and speed of the airflow blown by the mouth.
Musicians Franck- Emmanuel Comte and Patrick Rudant from Le Concert de l'Hostel-Dieu (an early music ensemble) will lead the workshop
