Cardiff Sinfonietta: An evening of Welsh Song
Cardiff Sinfonietta is joined by Welsh Soprano, Elin Manahan Thomas, in the final concert of the season, for a cycle of Morfydd Owen songs orchestrated by Bernard Kane. The concert also features acclaimed cellist Rowena Calvert performing Saint Saens, Cello Concerto no .1. The orchestra and Jonathan Mann then close the concert in style with a performance of Beethoven, Symphony no. 7.
