This course will introduce you to a range of techniques for preventing and controlling pests and diseases in your garden and allotment. Choosing the right varieties, how and when to plant and keeping good hygiene, will all contribute to a healthy growing area. We will ensure that you learn to recognize some of the most important pests and diseases in vegetable and fruit crops and the best barriers, traps and natural predators help to keep slugs and aphids at bay.
