Chelsworth is one of the prettiest villages in Suffolk and there is no better time to appreciate its charms than on the last Sunday in June. On that day, for more than 50 years, the villagers have opened their gardens to the public. In fact the people of Chelsworth believe that they were the first village in England to come up with the idea of opening their gardens to raise money for good causes.
