Caphouse Coal Race

The Caphouse Coal Race is a traditional coal-carrying race event held this year on Saturday 26th May for Men, Women and Children. Men carry 50kg of coal, women 20kg, youths10kg and children 5kg in weight.

Adult Man/Woman 18 years + £7.50 - Mens Race 1.00pm , Womens Race 1.20pm
Youth Boy/Girl 15 - 17 years £2 - Boys Race 12:00 noon, Girls Race 12:20pm
Boy/Girl 11 - 14 years £1 - Boys Race 11:00am, Gir
