Village fetes are a great English tradition stretching back hundreds of years - they bring communities together and are a great way to find bargains and recycle clothes, books and china. One of the first in the calendar is the legendary Newtown Church Fete, which takes place each year in the beautiful gardens of Meonwood, Woodend, PO17 6JZ (Just off the A32, north of Wickham).
