It's here at Washington Old Hall where the 'Washington' family (and the first president of the United States) took their surname, and we're proud to celebrate this special day with our American friends. This estate incorporates parts of the original medieval home of George Washington's direct ancestors, so it's fitting that we celebrate the 4th July too.
