Lizard Point - Lizard Point - Shipwreck, signals, and the undersea bell story
As part of the Festival of British Archaeology, join us for a guided walk along the coastpath at Lizard Point. Hear tales of shipwrecks, dramatic rescues and a rich history of maritime communications, from semaphore to ground breaking radio experiments, p. Booking Not Needed. Children welcome, though walk may last up to 2 hours. Dogs on leads welcome.
A National Trust Event - Start 10:00. End 12:00. Normal Admission Charges Apply. Meet at the NT Lizard Point Car park opposite the lighthouse entrance. Check website for latest information.
