Each year thousands of sea birds and marine mammals are injured or killed by the nation's discarded litter. If you have a couple of hours, please join us to help keep our beach a beautiful and safe place. Last year, around 6000 volunteers picked up a whopping 268,384 pieces of litter from the UK's beaches - that's 268,384 fewer wild sea birds and marine mammals injured or killed from swallowing rubbish or becoming entangled in the nation's litter.
