Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden - Make your own medieval thumb pot
Get your hands working squeezing and squishing clay to make a medieval style watering can- a thumb pot! Drop in whilst stocks last. Thumb pots were used both indoors to clean straw floors and outdoors for watering plants in medieval times. Come along to make one yourself and discover how you use your thumb to control the flow of water. Booking Not Needed. Dogs on leads welcome.
