Cragside - Women of industry: Industrial innovation? Part of Women and Power
A new exhibition will share the experiences of women who worked in some of Newcastle's most iconic industrial environments, exploring the contribution women made to industry at a time of major societal shift. Women of industry: Industrial innovation' will explore the stories of local women working within Lord Armstrong's Elswick Works during World War I. Using sight and sound, this immersive experience will unveil what life was like as a female worker in indus. Booking Not Needed
