Lavenham Guildhall - Big Spinning Day
Lavenham was once famous for spinning wool, seeing Lavenham boom in the late 15th Century through wealth from the wool trade. Join us on the 16 June for a special day of demonstrations. A special opportunity to come and see our wonderful volunteers spinning wool using traditional spinning wheels. They will be making yarn from both tradtional and modern fibres including a few surprising fibres. We welcome you to come and have a chat and a. Booking Not Needed.
