Encore Care Homes to host free dementia seminar during national Dement

As part of Dementia Action Week, Encore Care Homes is holding a free dementia awareness seminar at Great Oaks care home in Bournemouth, on Thursday, May 24 from 2.00-4.00pm.

Open to members of the public, the seminar will be presented by Mark Harrison, an award-winning dementia specialist from Informed Dementia Care. Using an interactive presentation, Mark will explain some of the complex behaviours of dementia, identify coping strategies that can help people to gain a deeper understanding.
