Walton Maritime Museum
The museum records Walton's close association with the sea and its impact on the town's social history. The exhibition displays Walton's internationally important geology with impressive fossil and flint tool collections, the establishment of the early lifeboat community plus Walton's role as an agricultural community using tidal and wind energy to power the mills. The town's C18 and C19 resort development is highlighted and 2018 concludes the Walton at War exhibi
