A little known story of how a group of World War 2 Conscientious Objectors came to Lincolnshire to farm rather than fight. Amongst them were Jim Broadbent’s parents.
The script is based on interviews with a great many of the people involved, some were made in the 70’s and many, made by Ian were with people who were alive in the past 2 to 3 years. Only one member, Don Sutherland is still alive today.
