Sterndale Singers, directed by Robert Webb, present a varied programme of music, perfect for summer evening listening. There is a strong English element to the programme - anthems from the Golden Age of English Church Music by Batten, Mundy, Tallis and Tomkins; partsongs from the Romantic period by Parry, Stanford and Sterndale Bennett and from two of England's pastoralists, Ireland and Vaughan Williams.
