Ely Consort join forces with the Con Brio Chamber Orchestra to perform Haydn’s Heilig Mass, one of the great settings composed towards the end of his life. Written in the same year as Mass in Time of War, which we preformed in 2016 at Sutton, the music shares the same excitement and grandeur, exploiting the possibilities for choir and orchestra to the full.
