Barkston Ash Scarecrow Festival
This very popular and highly successful bi-annual event will be held on Saturday 30 June and Sunday 1 July.
Started in 2003 as a means of raising money for the refurbishment/upkeep of the Village Hall, the event has gone from strength to strength. Every event there are over 30 scarecrows on display and many people look forward to the festival with approximately 600 people visiting every other year.
