Women of note: a celebration of female composers

Yeovil Chamber Choir's concert will be directed by Peter Parshall, and will celebrate music written by female composers including Imogen Holst, Amy Beach, Elizabeth Poston, Judith Bingham and Janet Wheeler. Peter Lea-Cox is Guest Organist for the evening and will perform items by Nadia Boulanger and Ethyl Smyth, as well as accompany the choir.

Amy Beach: Magnificat & Nunc dimittis
Imogen Holst: Mass in A minor
Judith Bingham: The darkness is no darkness
Elizabeth Poston: Jesus Christ
