Explore Nottingham's engineering landmarks on a guided bike tour

ead by Nottingham Cycle Tours, the tour celebrates the achievements of local engineers with historical facts and anecdotes: from the construction of the first asphalt highway, the first pressurised water system in the UK, and a resident responsible for the pre-cursor of traffic lights, the city has a great story to tell.

The tour will take in the rail station, the canal, the cycle super highway, the Park Tunnel, Belle Vue Reservoir, Great Central Railway Tunnel Portal, the former Leen Valley
The tours will run on Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 June 2018 from: 09:00-12:00; 13:00-16:00 & 17:00-20:00.

The tours will start at the Sir Colin Campbell Building over bridge, University of Nottingham I
