Rob Walker and Dorking’s Place in Motor racing History
The exhibition remembers the Rob Walker Grand Prix winning motor racing team which secured Dorking’s place in motor racing history. The charismatic Rob Walker’s racing cars were developed, built and tested in Dorking. Among the memorabilia on display is a unique collection of scale models that featured on TV’s Bargain Hunt. The exhibition coincides with the 60th anniversary of the first Grand Prix victory in Rob Walker colours by driver Stirling Moss. Rob’s team competed in Formula One from 19
