Fly Casting and Fly Tying Tuition
Low cost coaching in fly casting and fly tying, provided by Mid Northants Trout Fishers' Association MNTFA.
Suitable for complete beginners to experienced anglers.
Minimum age 10 years old. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Equipment for the session is provided.
Fly fishing tackle advice also available.
Each individual session lasts about 1 hour.
This does not include a fishing session, our coaches teach you how to cast a fly line on grass, to begin with. Fly tying demonstrations are indoors. We can also teach you about different fishing methods, entomology and fly patterns. We provide information on where you can fish for trout. If you decide to join our club we can offer additional tuition and fishing opportunities.
If you would like to start fly fishing, come for a lesson first before buying any kit.
There is a tackle shop on site.
