Thamesmead Festival
It's a big Birthday Party - 50 years since the first residents moved into the Thamesmead Estate. The first were the Gooch Family. It happens on the shores of the Southmere Lake. It's hosted by Peabody with Emergency Exit Arts. There will be a Carnival Procession through the streets, craft and food market, talent stage, aerial circus performance, pet show and children's area.
There will be a Latin American Tea Dance led by me, Elsa Perez, from 4 to 5pm.
