Crimson Glory

We welcome you to St Edmundsbury Cathedral to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War.
Crimson Glory uses music, drama, dance and image to tell the story of a Suffolk soldier in the war.

The story itself is fictional, but the characters are based on real people. We follow the story beginning with life on a Suffolk farm, then hearing Kitchener's call, the voyage to France, and the horrors of the trenches. Through these stages we see the soldier grappling with issues
