The Hugh Rainey Jazz Band. The third visit of the year by one of Essex’s most popular and enduring traditional jazz bands led by the ebullient Hugh on trumpet. The six-piece band plays the music of Bechet, Ellington, Beiderbecke, Morton, Oliver and Basie. The Hornchurch Conservative Club is an air-conditioned venue with a dance floor, comfortable seating, drinks at club prices, wheel-chair access and car parking.
