Talkin Tables meets every week - for one hour - offering people the chance to connect with others.
It is aimed at people who want to widen their social contacts, and have someone to talk to on a regular basis.
Its a place where people can go and know that people will be happy to chat with them for an hour!
The tables are free for anyone to join; people need to buy their own coffee and snacks.
The host welcomes people to the table and is there as a friendly face. Who knows what can happen from there?
The Maidenhead Rotary Bridge Club - hosts a table every week for people to come and chat. Its as simple as that. Talkin Tables started in Chorley in 2021. The movement has slowly expanded and there are over 70 tables nationally. Their slogan is combatting loneliness one table at a time.
