St Mary’s Church, Cottingham is marking 100 years since the end of World War I with a programme of exhibitions and activities during the fortnight 26 October – 13 November. Displays will be created from both fresh flowers and the thousands of poppies knitted and crocheted over the past eighteen months by individuals and groups throughout the village.

The church is open throughout the two weeks for normal services and to view the exhibitions (10:30 am – 5 pm Monday to Saturday; 12 noon - 5 pm on Sundays); entrance to the exhibitions is free.
