The Moon will be at first quarter. The Moon will be lit from the side casting good shadows from the Moon’s features and throwing craters into deep relief especially along the terminator, the line between the lit and unlit parts of the moon.
Also in the sky at that time will be Mars “the Red Planet”. If the skies are clear there will definitely be a telescope pointed at Mars.
