Handel's Messiah at Spendmore Lane Methodist Church, Coppull.
This year sees the 94th performance of Handel's Messiah at Spendmore Lane Methodist Church in Coppull. The conductor is Phil Davenport, musical director of Chorley choir The Guild Singers, and the organist is Peter Kwater. There are four invited professional soloists as well as the choir and a small orchestra of professional musicians.
Part 1 begins at 2.30pm, Parts 2&3 start at 6pm following a sumptuous buffet tea provided by the church and choir.
