The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those who have experienced Pilates previously. It is appropriate for all levels of fitness, all adult ages, and both men and women are welcome to join. During the workshop Karen will • introduce Pilates principles • demonstrate and teach foundation exercises • show you how you can modify Pilates exercises using props, if this is appropriate for your body • answer all your Pilates questions during the mid-morning break Karen is a STOTT Pilates qualified instructor, Level 3 Diploma in Teaching. STOTT Pilates includes principles of breathing, concentration and fluidity of movement. Karen provides all the mats and small equipment you will need, you just need to wear comfortable clothing you can easily move in.
