A Baroque Christmas by Candlelight with the Elgar Chorale
Join the Elgar Chorale of Worcester for a concert of seasonal music from the Baroque era in the lovely Church of the Ascension, Malvern Link, Worcs.
With a small instrumental ensemble and in the atmospheric church surroundings, the Elgar Chorale will present a programme of music from the era of Gabrieli and Bach: these two composers stand at the beginning and ending of the Baroque period. You will hear the glorious O Magnum Mysterium and Hodie Christus natus est by Gabrielli, the motet Lobet
