Opening on the eve of Remembrance Sunday, ACEArts’ November exhibition, ‘A Century of Silence’ by Jon England, reflects upon one hundred years since the cessation of the First World War.
The exhibition explores three key cultural filters - silence, memorial and the poppy - through which we relate to incomprehensible or inexpressible events now beyond the memory of any living individual.
