Follow the Elves around the National Waterways Museum, Gloucester
In Finland they have tonttu, the Swedes call them tomte and Norwegians love their nisse - Christmas elves come in many forms.
From 15 November to 30 December at the National Waterways Museum, Gloucester a whole team of elves will be hiding around the museum. Visitors of all ages will be able to follow a trail to spot the green-suited little characters. They could be anywhere - peeping from behind vintage engines, hiding in the sweet-smelling chocolate crumb churns or making themselves at home

The museum opens from 10am to 4pm and is closed on Mondays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
