Feasting, fasting, revels, sports, pancakes and football. Ballads, carols, dances, masque songs, theatre music and readings. Includes music by Campion, Ferrabosco, Gibbons and Peerson; and readings from Dekker, Dunbar, Gay, Hawkins and Shakespeare.
